Weight:
The new forged connecting rods we sell are about 30 grams each heavier than stock rods. They are a balanced set. This is not a place to try and save weight if that is what you are after.
Origin:
The rods come from a highly regarded US company and are machined in the US. The origination of the forging is unknown. We have used the rods for years and have never had an issues with them. We feel they are a superior choice to the original GM reconditioned rods and recommend every Corvair flight engine use them.
