We have determined that an unknown number of flap adjusters (part number P4610), have incorrect bends on the sheet metal angle portion of the adjuster.  This may cause the adjuster to be positioned to far out-board.  If you try to trim the (P4608 and P4609) flap control arm enough for it to sit in the correct position it may not leave enough room for the cross bolt.   See the photo of the correct and the incorrect parts.

Actions

  1. If you have not installed the adjuster system verify if you have the correct part (see photo).  If one or both of your parts are incorrect send an email with a photo of both parts to support@flywithspa.com, and we will verify, then send out a new adjusters.  If you do not send photos please do not expect new parts.
  2. If you have already installed your flap system and had adequate room for the cross bolt head, then no action is required.
  3. If you have already assembled, or attempted to assemble, the system and trimmed the flap arm tube shorter, and do not have proper space for the bolt send an email with photos of both sides to  support@flywithspa.com  and we will send a new P4610 flap adjusters.  You will also need to purchase new P4608 and P4609 flap arms to correct the assembly.
